The Memory Project: Fiji — ABC International Development (series)

The Memory Project: Fiji is made up of 11 x 5-minute short documentaries that look at Fiji’s history through the prism of archival footage. This footage, sourced from the National Archives of Fiji and the National Film and Sound Archives of Australia, was used in combination with interviews and documentary content shot on location in Fiji. Marleena Forward produced, directed, shot and edited the 11 films over a period of four months. The films are published to social media, and will also appear on Fiji TV in 2022.

The project was created as part of the Pacific Media Assistance Scheme (PACMAS), managed by ABC International Development and funded by the Australian government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).
